Yeah… football season is here and that means Sunday’s are fun or non-productive because I will be spending the whole day sitting in front of the TV, trying to catch every play.
Being a avid football fan, while browsing through the NFL, i found that following expert opinions on who will be going to the Superbowl and decided that I should also share my opinions on the coming season.

AFC East winner – Patriots.

Analysis:

Bills are rebuilding and the season will be considered a success if they do not pick in the top 10 in the next draft.

Jets let go of key personal (Thomas Jones (RB), Leon Washington (RB), Alan Faneca(G)) but those departures are not going to miss them because of the offensive line, but Mark Sanchez is a question mark.

Miami got better on offense with in addition of Brandon Marshall (WR).

Patriots they got offense sputtering again, we will see two tight end set more. Defense is suspect, pass rusher need was not addressed and that secondary still need to prove it can work.

It was a toss up between Patriots and Jets, but I was biased to pick Patriots because Their offense will carry them.

AFC North winner – Ravens

Analysis:

Browns are rebuilding and they have a top five pick in the next draft ready. Very crucial year for Eric Mangini and he is out of Cleveland at the end of the season.

Steelers are going to miss Ben for the first four games and other teams in the division are more improved than them.

Bengals have high expectations are winning the division last year but will find it hard to repeat 6-0 division record from last year. The Batman and Robin are a spent force and more dramas than any real action.

Ravens are the most improved team and my pick for Superbowl. The key factor Ray Rice and Flacco will have a great year with TJ and Bouldin. I think this team has the it factor this year with the only hole being in the secondary. But for a change the offense carries the defense.

AFC South winner – Colts

Analysis:

Jaguars are a very young team and coming with very low expectations. They need upgrade on QB.

Titans are a good team and if their defense very a little better they might win the division. Offense will be better with the maturing of Vince Young.

Texans are the team with X factor but I think Mark Schaub has issues with staying healthy. Defense needs to step up when it matters. They have not stopped anyone in the end of the game, which is crucial when you play Colts.

Colts are bringing all the starters from last year and are a easy pick for division champs. Can you really bet against Peyton.

AFC West winner – Broncos

Analysis:

Chiefs are improving and but I think they did not improve enough. We will see if Matt Cassel is for real.

Raiders are upgraded because of the trade of Jason Campbell, but they still need help on offense.

Chargers are the favorite of all the experts. I think that there is too much hype about them. Losing the left tackle to contract disputes is going to haunt them later in the season.

Broncos are the underrated team and I think Kyle Orton carries the team and they win the division. All the hooplah about Tebow is overrated.

AFC wild cards – Chargers, Texans

NFC East winner – Cowboys

Analysis:

Giants are bad on defense and unless they go back to basics, such as tackling they are going to be a contender.

Eagles are going to fare better in the first year of Kevin Kolb starting, but it will not be enough in the

Redskins are rebuilding and they will be much better than last year. Mike Shanahan is going to make it a contender in couple of years.

Cowboys did not sharp in the offseason but they are going to find their mojo and end up winning the division.

NFC North winner – Vikings

Analysis:

Bears end up losing the division, there is not enough talent and even with Mike Martz running the offense, the poor O-line does not keep Cutler on feet.

Lions are moving up. They have revamped defense, they are moving up and if they keep adding talent, they will have a bright future but for now they are not good enough to win the division.

Packers are an expert favorite with the pre-season work, but I think Frazier, Vikings defense coordinator has O-line number and Packers might just fall short. They have some questions on secondary and see Favre to exploit it.

Vikings are the team which needs to get better fast. Based on the first game performance they might not even make it as division leader. Favre will be worn out by the end of year and therefore will lead to short postseason.

NFC South winner – Falcons

Analysis:

Buccaneers are a long way from finding who they are. Raheem Morris was thrust into head coaching, something he was not ready for. They need experience at head coaching. Ownership is known for making decisions which defy logic.

Panthers have a good running game and defense, the only question is the quarterback, but they can be the surprise team. If Moore can play better than last year they might have a postseason run.

Saints while being the defending champion and having all starter back from last year are not looking in the prime shape. They are going to be a wild card and that much vaunted offense did not seem that comfortable in the first game and two missed field goals.

Falcons should have a breakout season and the reason is defense. This year we find out what Matt Ryan is going to be.

NFC West winner – 49ers

Analysis:

Rams have a rookie quarterback and do not have high expectations. They are couple of years away from being a serious contender.

Seahawks have a new coach and have upturned the roster and need to protect Matt Hasselback.

Cardinals with all the controversy on the quarterback position after Kurt Warner retiring, are looking at the running game to keep the division title but just might not be enough.

49ers are the it team, with the new spread offense for Alex Smith, he should have a good year combined with a good running game and defense will be enough for the division title.

NFC wild cards – Saints, Packers

AFC title game – Ravens over Colts

NFC title game – Falcons over Packers

SuperBowl XLV – Ravens over Falcons
